Fast cut media generally has a high abrasive content and a higher than average density, which results in an increase in metal removal during the finishing process. This media is used when a large amount of work is required for a product; such as removal of heavy burrs or casting lines, improvement of a very rough surface, or rounding sharp edges. Ceramic products available are DURAMEDIA® 40, 120C, 3DCM, H, PWS, WK, XC, and DURALUM® XM. Plastic products available are DURAMEDIA® Plastic Low Density 30 and 40, High Density 130 and 130 EZ, High Performance 230FC and 250FC, and 3DPM.
