DURAMEDIA® is used in applications such as deburring, deflashing, cutting, burnishing, polishing, and brightening. DURAMEDIA® 20 / F
DURAMEDIA® 20/F is an aluminum oxide based ceramic media that is versatile for general purpose and mildly abrasive mass finishing. This media can offer a low wear rate with a reasonable metal removal rate. (85 lbs. /cubic foot, color: white)
DURAMEDIA® 20/F is typically used for mild deburring on metals and plastics, and for burnishing (with proper compounding). It can also be used in place of plastic media for parts that are to be anodized or can be used on parts prior to brazing.

DURAMEDIA® XC is excellent for removal of heavy burrs, flash, or scale. It has good cutting ability for heat treated steels, teflon products, and nickel-bronze castings. A primary consideration for this formula would be applications for gear finishing.
