Epoxy resin and synthetic plastic media manufacturers and supply sources here in the United States have undergone considerable consolidation over the past few years. As a result, facilities have been closed and other past manufacturers and suppliers have sold their expertise and equipment to foreign companies further limiting accessibility and purchasing alternatives for these products. In response to your anticipated and growing concerns, Washington Mills Ceramics Corporation brings you good news by providing you another source for plastic media, to maintain that competitive edge all our distributors welcome.
Washington Mills Ceramics Corporation is pleased to announce that we will have a full line of epoxy resin and synthetic plastic media available March 3, 2008. As many of you remember, in March of 1996 we purchased the assets of CAPCO when we were expanding our ceramic media line in Lake Wales, Florida. As part of that purchase, we also acquired their plastic media formulations, molds and equipment. In light of what has happened in the plastic media market, we’ve decided to come to the assistance of our Customers and Distributors and reintroduce this product offering under the DURAMEDIA® PLASTIC name. As a result, all formulations have been revived, all molds and equipment have been cleaned and retrofitted, and we’re ready to go!
As a part of this new campaign, we have enclosed for your reference and use the updated DURAMEDIA® PLASTIC Brochure, which defines all formulations available and depicts the expanded number of shapes and sizes available. Also enclosed, you will find our Distributor Price List, effective March 3, 2008 and a Plastic Media Comparison Chart, which will help you identify and match our DURAMEDIA® PLASTIC media formulations and application recommendations to known competitive products.
